We had a wonderful afternoon yesterday with 10 members attending for fun and a fab feast .
Once the business was over we were entertained by a variety of activities from bell ringing , gift bag making , singing , poetry and readings . Many a laugh was had  . This was followed by a fab feast of Christmas goodies .

There is no Guild meetings in January and February but two dates for the diary in March are :
1 st March 2pm - the World Day of Prayer ( Palestine ) 
6 th March Guild meeting 2 pm AGM

Hi there ,
We had a fabulous meeting last week at our November meeting when 7 members enjoyed a very interesting talk by Raymond Besant , the world famous ( orcadian ) wildlife photographer . He has a very exciting , dangerous and challenging occupation and we really enjoyed seeing his film and photographs and hearing all about his adventures . 

At the meeting we agreed that the Vine Trust would be our chosen project for the next 2 years . 

A reminder that the subs are due - £17 please . 

Next meeting is Wednesday 6 th December . A fun afternoon for all . A fab feast . Bring along some party food and a party piece - game , reading , song etc 
2pm in the hall as usual .

6 members of the East Mainland Kirk Guild attended the rally which was hosted by the Stromness Kirk but held in the Milestone Kirk in Dounby . 
a lovely afternoon of fellowship and praise was enjoyed by all who attended .

October 4th - the speaker is Glynis Hughes’s speaking about the Malawi Music Project . There will be a collection for the project at this meeting

November 1st - the speaker is Raymond Besant

December 6 th there is no speaker but we will be having a Fab Feast ! The entertainment will be from our own members … perhaps a poem , song , quiz etc

The Guild Rally is on Thursday 21 st September at 1.30 pm at the Milestone Kirk
